Troopers said a Ford Mustang and a Ford F-150 truck crashed. The Mustang operated by a 19-year-old Bradenton man was heading west on 53rd Avenue West in the right lane and heading toward a red light with T-intersection of 20th Street West.
Manatee County, FL. – A 53-year-old Sarasota man was killed after a traffic collision on Sunday afternoon in Manatee County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at around 3:44 p.m. on March 1, at the 53rd Avenue West and 20th Street West intersection.
Troopers said a Ford Mustang and a Ford F-150 truck crashed. The Mustang operated by a 19-year-old Bradenton man was heading west on 53rd Avenue West in the right lane and heading toward a red light with T-intersection of 20th Street West. The Ford ruck on the other hand was travelling south on 20th Street West and heading towards its red signal light and crashed into the front of the truck.
The truck passenger sustained critical injuries and was transported to the hospital where he was declared dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
