Saint Meinrad, IN. – A 37-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Monday night in Saint Meinrad.
According to Indiana State Police, the accident happened at State Road 162 and State Road 62 at around 8:20 p.m.
A 37-year-old woman was driving northbound in an SUV when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle driven by a 40-year-old woman.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second driver was taken to Deaconess Memorial Medical Center with serious injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
