The driver was taken to an area hospital, where he later died
Churchill County, NV. – A man was killed in a car accident near Fallon in Churchill County on Wednesday, September 3.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Wildes Road (State Route 118) and Pasture Road.
A 2018 Chevrolet Impala was traveling westbound on Wildes Road and was trying to pass another vehicle when the driver lost control, veered off the highway, and crashed into a power pole.
The driver, 65-year-old Robert Riehm, was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
