Deputies said Murphy was heading westbound in a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado when the truck swerved off the roadway and struck a large tree on the south side.
DeKalb County, IN. – 22-year-old Riley F. Murphy has been identified as the Indianapolis man killed in a truck accident early Saturday morning in DeKalb County.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on August 23 on County Road 60.
Deputies said Murphy was heading westbound in a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado when the truck swerved off the roadway and struck a large tree on the south side.
Authorities believed speed may have contributed to the accident.
An investigation is underway.
