Police said a semi-truck was making a left turn into a gas station and made a U-turn when it realized it was closed. In the process the semi-truck crashed into the motorcycle.

Indianapolis, IN. – A rider was critically hurt following a motorcycle accident on Wednesday night in Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department.
The collision happened at around 9:40 p.m. on August 13, in the 2600 block of North Emerson Avenue.
Police said a semi-truck was making a left turn into a gas station when it realized that it was closed. It then made a U-turn and crashed into the motorcycle.
The rider was rushed to Eskenazi hospital and was listed in critical condition.
The semi driver was transported to the hospital to conduct a blood test.
An investigation is underway.
