Richard Wiggins was ejected from the bicycle and was taken to hospital where he later died.

Mesquite, NV. – 75-year-old Richard Lee Wiggins has been identified as the bicyclist who died after being struck by a car in Mesquite on Sunday, April 27.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), the accident happened around 12:21 p.m. on Oasis Boulevard at Pioneer Boulevard.
Wiggins was riding a white and green 2018 Cannondale Supersix EVO bicycle southbound on Oasis Boulevard and was making a left turn onto eastbound Pioneer when he was hit by a white 2011 Mini Cooper hatchback.
Wiggins was ejected from the bicycle and was taken to hospital where he later died.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
