Ricardo Hernandez Killed in Clackamas County Two-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 5

Clackamas County, OR. – One person was killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Clackamas County, according to the Oregon State Police.
The fatal accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on August 9 on Interstate 5 near milepost 282.
Police said Ricardo Hernandez, 28, of Keizer, was driving a Chevrolet Avalanche northbound when he left the roadway and rear-ended a parked Kenworth commercial motor vehicle and trailer.
Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The occupants of the Kenworth, Rebecca Kious, 57, and Bryan Kelly Kious, 58, of Elk City, OK, were uninjured in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
