Reno, NV. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Reno.
According to the Reno Police Department, the accident happened at Wells Avenue and Ryland Street at around 8:32 p.m.
The pedestrian was crossing outside a marked crosswalk as part of a group when the person was hit.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
