Reno, NV. – One person died in a wrong-way crash early Sunday morning in Reno.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the crash happened on the westbound Interstate 80 near Pyramid Way at around 5 a.m.
An eastbound vehicle was traveling in the westbound travel lanes of the freeway when it struck a semi-truck head-on.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-trailer was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
