According to the Port Orange Police Department, the accident happened around 8:17 p.m. near the 1700 block of Dunlawton Avenue.
An SUV reportedly struck two motorcyclists in the westbound lanes of the highway.
One of the motorcyclists was seriously injured and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The SUV driver did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
