Pinellas County, FL. – A 60-year-old Palm Harbor man riding an e-bike died after being struck by a car in Pinellas County early Sunday morning.
The fatal collision happened at U.S. 19 and Cypress Drive at around 12:30 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man on the e-bike was traveling west on Cypress Drive when he made a turn to travel north into the path of the car and was hit by a car traveling north on U.S. 19.
The bicyclist died at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
