Phoenix, OR – An 81-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Phoenix.

The accident occurred in the 4400 block of South Pacific Highway at around 7:04 p.m., according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman was struck by a Toyota Tundra driven by a 62-year-old Medford man in the business parking lot.

Paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene despite life-saving measures.

The 62-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
