Phoenix, AZ. – A man was killed in an early Saturday morning hit-and-run accident in west Phoenix, according to the police.
The fatal accident occurred around 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of 35th Avenue and Grand Avenue.
Police said a sedan was traveling southbound when it ran a red light at the intersection and hit a 35-year-old man who was crossing 35th Avenue at a marked crosswalk.
Other vehicles also hit the man.
All the involved drivers fled the scene after the accident.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the accident.
