Phoenix, AZ. – A 58-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Monday morning in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened at 51st Avenue and Van Buren Street at around 5:30 a.m.
The man was walking south on 51st Avenue when he tried to cross Van Buren and was struck by a car.
Medical personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
