Phoenix, AZ. – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident in Phoenix early Sunday morning, according to the police.
The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. in the area of 16th Street and Indian School Road.
Police said a man was struck by an SUV driven by a suspected impaired driver.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and talked with the officers.
They showed signs of impairment and was processed for DUI. They were released pending toxicology results.
