Phoenix, AZ. – A driver was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on Monday morning in Phoenix.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the fatal accident happened near 51st Avenue and Van Buren Street at around 2 a.m.
A white Kia struck the rear of a semi-truck and became lodged underneath it.
Paramedics attempted to administer medical aid to the seriously injured driver of the Kia.
Sadly, the driver of the driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured and stayed at the scene, cooperating with the police.
More details on the crash were not released.
