Phoenix, AZ. – One person was killed and another was injured after two vehicles collided in west Phoenix on Saturday night, according to Phoenix police.
The fatal crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on November 15, near 27th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
First responders located two men at the scene both suffering from serious injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle was driving at a high rate of speed and ran a red light before crashing into a second vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital where one of them, a 32-year-old man, died a day later.
The second patient remained hospitalized with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
