Orlando, FL. – A person was killed after a pedestrian accident early Friday morning in Orlando, according to the Orlando Police Department.
The accident happened on March 6, at Orlando International Airport near Garage B near Jeff Fuqua and Airport boulevards.
Police said a pedestrian was hit by a van in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the crash site.
The involved driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The van was towed away from the scene.
Police closed all northbound traffic lanes on Jeff Fuqua Boulevard and the garage following the collision. The roadway and the garage have since reopened.
An investigation is underway.
