Peoria, IL. – Five people were injured in a car accident on Sunday evening in Peoria.
According to the Peoria Police Department, the accident happened around 6:35 p.m. at the intersection of North Sheridan Road and West Nebraska Avenue.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision. One car reportedly caught fire after the collision.
Five people were injured and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Four patients were listed in critical condition.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
