Ravenswood, IL. – A pedestrian was severely injured after a hit-and-run collision on Friday afternoon last week in Ravenswood Manor neighborhood, Chicago, according to the Illinois State Police.
The crash occurred at about 1:58 p.m. February 20, in the 2900 block of West Wilson Avenue.
Troopers said the pedestrian was hit by a black Ford Escape described as a 2008-2012 model with Illinois license plates.
The car drove eastbound on Wilson Avenue after the collision.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries due to the crash.
An investigation is underway.
