Troopers said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
Park Ridge, IL. – Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian accident that killed a 65-year-old pedestrian on Saturday morning at an intersection in Park Ridge.
According to the Park Ridge Police Department, the deadly collision happened at about 6:26 a.m. on January 10, at the Cumberland Avenue and Peterson Avenue intersection.
Troopers said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was transported to Lutheran General Hospital where she died.
No one was cited or charged in regard to the crash.
Witnesses are asked to contact police.
An investigation is underway.
