The 48-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries
Pasco County, FL. – A woman was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Pasco County early Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The fatal collision happened around 3:30 a.m. on March 10 at the intersection of US 19 and Clark Street.
FHP said a 48-year-old Spring Hill woman was driving a Volkswagen Jetta southbound on US 19 when she attempted to make a U-turn at the intersection and her car was hit by a northbound Volkswagen Jetta.
The 48-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the northbound Volkswagen, a 45-year-old Spring Hill woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The FHP is investigating the accident.
