The teenager was airlifted to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for treatment
Othello, WA. – A 17-year-old boy was injured in a car accident early Saturday morning, about seven miles southeast of Othello.
According to the WSP, the accident happened around 1:00 a.m. on Highway 17.
WSP said the Kennewick teen was driving a Kia Optima when he lost control, drove off the southbound shoulder, overcorrected and crossed the centerline into the northbound lane, where the car flipped over and landed back on its wheels.
The teenager was airlifted to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for treatment.
He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
