The deadly crash happened on June 10, 2025, at around 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Street and Grand Avenue.

Las Vegas, N.M. – Two people who were killed in a traffic collision at an intersection in Las Vegas on Tuesday have been identified.
The authorities identified the victims as 18-year-old Orlando “Orly” Romero and 18-year-old Marquez Espinoza.
The deadly crash happened on June 10, 2025, at around 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Street and Grand Avenue.
Authorities said one vehicle was involved in the crash. The cause of the incident was not immediately established but authorities suspect that speed was major a contributing factor.
Romero and Espinoza were pronounced dead at the scene.
Reportedly, the two are recent Robertson graduates and former football players. Both played for the Cardinals.
