Orlando, FL. – A girl was injured after being struck by a car on Friday morning in Orlando.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:17 a.m. on South Apopka Vineland Road near Conroy Windermere Road.
A 65-year-old woman was driving a 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML-Class south on South Apopka Vineland Road when she reportedly ran a red light and struck the 15-year-old girl crossing the street.
The girl suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
