Antonio Aleman killed in collision on Interstate 10 near the Avenida De Mesilla exit in Doña Ana
Doña Ana, N.M. – A Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office deputy was killed after being hit by a car in Doña Ana on Tuesday evening.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 5 p.m. on Interstate 10 near the Avenida De Mesilla exit.
Patrol Deputy Antonio Aleman was on duty when his unit collided with a semi-truck in unclear circumstances.
Aleman was transported to Mountain View Regional Medical Center, where he died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
