An Othello Police officer was injured in the accident and was taken to hospital for treatment
Adams County, WA. – An Othello police officer was injured in a car accident that happened on Saturday night in Othello.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on State Route 17 around 9:40 p.m.
A fully marked Othello Police car with its emergency lights on was parked in the roadway to divert traffic around a prior crash when it was hit by a southbound vehicle that failed to yield to the police car.
An Othello Police officer was injured in the accident and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car was unhurt.
