Nyssa Campos was riding a bicycle and was beginning to cross the highway when he was hit by a truck

Greensburg, IN. – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car in Greensburg on Thursday morning.
According to the police, the accident happened around 10:40 a.m. on Montgomery Road near Fleetwood Drive.
20-year-old Nyssa Campos of Greensburg was riding a bicycle on the walking trail and was beginning to cross the highway when he was hit by a truck.
Campos was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver, 37-year-old Johnathan Hayden of Indianapolis, did not stop at the scene but was later located.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
