Nassau County, FL. – A 37-year-old bicyclist was killed in a collision on Monday night in Nassau County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on U.S. 1 near Hunters Greens Drive at around 7:48 p.m.
The Jacksonville man was riding a bicycle in the area and was struck by a car operated by a 68-year-old Callahan man.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
