Clermont, FL. – A motorcyclist was critically injured on Tuesday morning on Florida’s Turnpike in Clermont, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred a while after 10:30 a.m. on May 19 on Hancock Road between State Road 50.
Troopers said a motorcycle was involved in the collision in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center via aircare. The rider was listed in a critical condition.
The southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike were closed after the accident. The two lanes were reopened as of 11:30 a.m.
