Cutler Bay, FL. – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic crash on Monday morning in Cutler Bay, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at about 4:25 a.m. on April 6, on northbound Caribbean Boulevard (U.S. 1)/Government Center near mile marker 12.

Troopers said a Suzuki motorcycle and a red Nissan sedan crashed in unclear circumstances.

The man riding the motorcycle was thrown out of the bike and he fell onto the roadway.

He died in the collision.

Troopers were diverted at Southwest 216th Street.

Drivers were advised to use U.S. 1 or Krome Avenue as alternate routes.

An investigation is underway.
