Portland, OR. – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision early Wednesday morning in Portland, according to the Portland Police Department.
The accident happened at about 12:54 a.m. at Northeast Sandy Boulevard and 141st Drive.

The rider was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The car driver stayed at the crash site after the accident.
Authorities closed Northeast Sandy Boulevard between 138th and 141st avenue to give way to an on-scene investigation.
An investigation by the Major Crash Team is underway.
