Police said a moped rider hit a guardrail for unknown reasons.

Portland, OR. – A moped rider sustained critical injuries after a traffic collision on Thursday afternoon in Portland, according to the Portland Police Department.
The accident happened a while after 2:00 p.m. on June 11, on the eastbound Columbia Boulevard to southbound 33rd Avenue ramp.
Police said a moped rider hit a guardrail for unknown reasons.
The rider was rushed to the hospital with critical potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police closed Northeast 33rd Avenue in both directions south of Northeast Columbia Boulevard for an unspecified period of time. Northeast Columbia Boulevard was not closed.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
