Deputies said a 2005 Ford F550 box truck was driving north on Territorial Highway when it crossed into the oncoming lane and crashed into a 2001 Honda moped travelling south.
Lane County, OR. – A moped rider was severely injured after a traffic collision on Tuesday night in Lane County, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened at 8:00 p.m. on April 28th, on Territorial Highway at Old Lorane Road.
Deputies said a 2005 Ford F550 box truck was driving north on Territorial Highway when it crossed into the oncoming lane and crashed into a 2001 Honda moped travelling south.
The moped rider suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The truck driver stayed at the scene after the crash.
The roadway was closed to give way to an on-scene investigation.
