Deputies said Molly was riding in a white SUV that was hit by another SUV, forcing her car into the rear of a semi-truck.

Fort Wayne, IN. – A 9-year-old girl identified as Molly was visited at the hospital by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department (ACSD) deputies.
According to the ACSD, the girl sustained injuries following the Monday crash that happened at around 2:10 p.m. on August 4, near the 297 mile marker, north of Markle in Fort Wayne, Allen County.
Deputies said Molly was riding in a white SUV that was hit by another SUV, forcing her car into the rear of a semi-truck.
The two adult SUV motorists and Molly sustained severe injuries and were rushed to local hospitals for treatment.
The semi-driver was not hurt in the collision.
Two deputies Andrew Baehl and Ahmir Morgan visited her at the hospital on Tuesday and brought her gifts after a surgery.
No additional information was released.
An investigation is underway.
