Escambia County, FL. – A 70-year-old Pensacola woman was critically injured in a car crash at an intersection on Friday afternoon near Molino in Escambia County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 97.
The 70-year-old woman was traveling north on Highway 29 in her SUV in the left turn lane when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic while making a left turn and collided with an oncoming SUV driven by a 46-year-old Pensacola man.
The woman was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The man suffered minor injuries in the accident.
