Middleburg, FL. – A juvenile girl was seriously injured after being struck by a school bus on Friday morning in Middleburg.
According to FHP, the accident happened at around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Pine Ridge Parkway and Creek Bluff Lane.
An 11-year-old girl was riding an electric scooter across the street when she was struck by a school bus.
The girl was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The occupants of the school, seven students, were not injured in the incident and were transported safely to school.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
