Michelle Moussan Killed in Tillamook County Crash on Highway 26

Tillamook County, OR. – Michelle Marie Moussan, 59, was killed in a car accident that left at least five other people injured on Saturday evening in Tillamook County.

According to Oregon State Police, the fatal collision happened on Highway 26 near milepost 31 at around 6:07 p.m.

Fred Camino, 64, of Seattle, was driving a Toyota RAV4 westbound when he collided head-on with an eastbound Nissan Sentra, driven by Bassam Jabra Moussan, 62, of Austin, Texas.

Michelle Moussan, a resident of Vancouver, Washington, was a passenger in the Nissan and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fred Camino and his passenger, Ann Martinez, 60, also of Seattle, were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Jabra Moussan and his passengers, 34-year-old Matthew James Moussan, of Vancouver, Washington, and 30-year-old Whitney Daniel Moussan, of Davis, California, were also hospitalized with serious injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
