The deadly accident happened around 10:30 p.m. on July 18 at the intersection of East Speedway Boulevard and North Beverly Avenue.

Tucson, AZ – A man was killed Friday night in a motorcycle accident in Tucson, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened around 10:30 p.m. on July 18 at the intersection of East Speedway Boulevard and North Beverly Avenue.
Authorities said a Ford Mustang struck a Harley-Davidson motorcycle while traveling eastbound. The motorcyclist, 53-year-old Michael Robb Ormsby, was ejected and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The Mustang fled the scene and was found abandoned about four miles away.
Nereyda Aneli Garcia, 26, turned herself in to the Tucson Police Department on July 19, 2025 and was arrested for hit and run causing death. She was being held at the Pima County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Excessive speed and failure to control the Mustang were factors in the accident.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
