Deputies said the officer was rear-ended by a pickup truck in unclear circumstances.
Southwest Miami-Dade, FL. – A veteran Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office motorman was hurt after a traffic collision on Wednesday morning in Southwest Miami-Dade, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred at southwest 127th Avenue and southwest 120th Street on April 1st.
Deputies said the officer was rear-ended by a pickup truck in unclear circumstances.
The officer was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
The pickup driver remained at the scene after the collision.
Deputies did not say if the driver would be cited.
An investigation is underway.
