The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene

Miami County, IN. – A 79-year-old man was killed in a crash on Wednesday morning in Miami County.
According to Indiana State Police, the crash happened at the intersection of US 31 and State Road 16 at around 11 a.m.
A Honda CR-V driven by a 79-year-old man was traveling southbound on US 31 and collided with a Lexus traveling westbound on State Road 16. Both cars came to rest southwest of the intersection.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Honda’s 78-year-old passenger was flown to an area hospital to have the serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Lexus driver and his passenger were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
