Massac County, IL. – One person was killed in a car on Tuesday morning in Metropolis, Massac County.
The fatal collision happened around 2:27 a.m. on I-24 eastbound, south of Rosebud Road.
One vehicle reportedly rear-ended another and both caught fire.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second driver was airlifted to a local hospital in unknown condition.
