Joliet, IL – A woman was killed in a traffic collision at an intersection in Joliet early Sunday, according to Will Coroner’s Office.
The deadly crash happened on June 15 on Route 30 and Hillcrest Road
The coroner identified the woman as 23-year-old Melissa Inchaurriga, from Crest Hill.
Authorities said Inchaurriga was the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision.
Inchaurriga was transported to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox and was pronounced dead at 6:14 a.m. the same day.
The Illinois State Police are investigating the collision.
