Maryvale, AZ. – A man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Maryvale early Friday morning, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road.
Authorities said a man was struck by a gray Jeep Cherokee. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Jeep driver, a Hispanic woman in her 40s, briefly got out of the car and then got back in and fled the scene.
The authorities are looking for the car that might have major damage to the front.
An investigation is underway.
