Marshall County, IN. – Three people, including a 16-month-old, were injured in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Marshall County.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred in the area of US 6 and Dogwood Road at around 12:30 p.m.

A 22-year-old Mishawaka resident was driving a 2020 Kia passenger car when he reportedly failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and pulled into the path of an oncoming 2024 Volkswagen, resulting in a collision.

The driver of the Kia was taken to Bremen Hospital with minor injuries.

Paramedics transported the 24-year-old driver of the Volkswagen and the 16-month-old female passenger to Bremen Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Additional information about the accident was not provided.

The Indiana State Police is investigating the crash.
