Marion County, IN. – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday evening in Marion County.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the collision occurred in the area of Walnut Hill Road and Airport Road at around 5 p.m.
A 43-year-old woman was driving an SUV westbound on Walnut Road when she collided with a car traveling northbound on Airport Road.
The 78-year-old male driver of the car was trapped inside the vehicle and was extricated.
The two drivers were transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital with unknown injuries.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
