Marengo, IL. – An elderly man was flown to the hospital following a tractor accident on Sunday afternoon in Marengo, McHenry County, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened in the 5200 block of Maple Street at about 2:30 p.m. on September 7.
Deputies said the Marengo Fire and Rescue District responded to the incident. The crew said an elderly man was run over by a tractor.
He sustained severe injuries and was flown to a hospital in Libertyville.
The helicopter landed at the soccer field at Marengo Community High School.
