Greene County, IN. – A man was killed in a head-on collision on Friday afternoon in Greene County.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened on North State Road 45 near mile marker 57 at around 2:40 p.m.
41-year-old William Brand was driving a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country when he collided head-on with a 2021 Ford F-450 driven by 49-year-old Michael Kieft, of Bloomfield.
Brand, a resident of Bedford, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Kieft was injured in the accident and was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
