Belvidere, IL. – A 22-year-old man was killed after a traffic collision early Wednesday morning in Belvidere, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly accident happened at 5:40 a.m. on December 17 in the 3700 block of Irene Road.
Authorities said the driver was driving northbound on Irene Road when he lost control of the car and hit a tree for reasons still under investigation.
The man was killed in the collision.
