Forest View, IL. – One man was killed after a traffic collision early Friday morning in Forest View, according to the Forest View Police Department.
The accident occurred a while after 1:00 a.m. on June 19, near West 47th Street and South Central Avenue.

The deceased person was later identified as a 35-year-old man.
The roadway was blocked for several hours as investigators worked at the scene.
One vehicle was towed away from the scene.
All lanes have since reopened.
